Senior / Associate Vice President, Regional Sales Asia

Data Services Sales commercializes proprietary data from Deutsche Börse Group, international cooperation partners, as well as real-time analytics. Moreover, the area serves partner exchanges in terms of market data marketing and dissemination. We are looking to hire a business developer to market and promote the data and analytics offering from Deutsche Börse, the Greater China region.

Tasks / Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with consumers of data and analytics in the Greater China region
• Market research, identification of demand and cross-selling opportunities
• Develop and execute sales strategies for the Greater China region
• Create ad-hoc presentations for internal and external distribution
• Confidently present the data and analytics offerings and lead client facing meetings
• Business Development capabilities with confident cold calling techniques
• Work closely with the other members of the sales team to ensure coordinated sales activities
• Develop, grow and accurately report the sales pipeline and opportunities using adequate software tools such as SAP C4
• Relationship management for existing data cooperation partner exchanges
• Engage in sales events, conferences and trade shows, willingness to travel

Qualifications / Required skills

• Minimum of 5+ years in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics or sales of investment products
• University or comparable degree in business administration or related subjects
• Proven sales track record, strong commercial attitude and persistence
• Financial market experience including a deep understanding of product offerings, ideally from working in trading or quant funds
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence
• Strong team player and cooperative attitude
• Very strong English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese a must) language skills
