We are hiring a Head of Engineering for a leading product-based company. The ideal candidate should have a strong backend engineering background in Java or Python and hands-on experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and AI/MLWe are specifically looking for someone who is currently working as an Individual Contributor (IC) while driving technical excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering strategy, architecture, and product delivery.
  • Build scalable AI-powered platforms and backend systems.
  • Drive GenAI, Agentic AI, and RAG-based initiatives.
  • Stay hands-on with system design, architecture, and code reviews.
  • Mentor engineering teams and promote engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Business stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • 13-16 years in a product-based company.
  • Strong expertise in Java or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, AI/ML, and LLMs.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent system design and leadership skills.
  • Must currently be working as an Individual Contributor (IC).
