Software Engineer II (Java + Golang)

We are looking for a Software Engineer II with strong backend development experience in Java and Golang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and distributed systems that power high-traffic applications. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Java and Golang.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Write unit tests and integration tests, and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging production systems.
• B. E. /B. Tech. /M. Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Redis or caching mechanisms.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
