BFSI Recruiter

About the role

The BFSI Recruiter will own the end-to-end talent acquisition process for banking, financial services, and insurance positions. This on-site role focuses on sourcing high-quality candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and niche BFSI talent pools.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates to match skill sets and cultural fit for BFSI roles.
• Coordinate interview schedules between hiring managers, senior leadership, and candidates.
• Manage offer negotiations, extend offers, and ensure timely acceptance.
• Facilitate employee onboarding, including documentation, background checks, and compliance training.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in the CRM and generate regular recruitment metrics reports.
• Stay current on BFSI regulatory requirements and ensure hiring practices remain compliant.

Required qualifications

• 1-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the BFSI sector.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Strong interview coordination and candidate management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate offers and close talent.
• Working knowledge of compliance standards relevant to banking, financial services, or insurance hiring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM integrations.
• Familiarity with industry-specific certifications such as CFA, FRM, or insurance licensing.
• Track record of hiring for specialized roles such as risk analysts, compliance officers, or investment bankers.
• Exposure to remote hiring strategies for hybrid BFSI teams.
