Fullstack Developer (PHP/JavaScript)

This full-stack engineer role offers the chance to build the customer-facing side of a leading e-commerce platform. You'll leverage your PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, and front-end skills to deliver features end to end, from database and business logic to responsive user interfaces, while enjoying a supportive environment for continuous learning and growth in both backend and frontend development. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer-facing functionality of the e-commerce platform;

• Develop complex e-commerce solutions, including the product catalog, product pages, and the shopping cart;

• Build backend functionality on Symfony: business logic, API integrations, and database work;

• Build APIs to extend the system's functionality;

• Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery;

• Optimize code performance and fix bugs.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional PHP development experience (PHP 7+);

• Strong knowledge of MySQL;

• Solid understanding of OOP and MVC principles and design patterns;

• Responsive layout skills with HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and media queries;

• Confident knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and AJAX;

• Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Gulp;

• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for building user-friendly interfaces;

• Experience with Git and basic Docker skills;

• Confident working with the command line;

• English proficiency at B1 level;

• Ability to effectively integrate AI tools into the development workflow and critically evaluate AI-generated code and solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Symfony or a similar PHP framework;

• Hands-on experience with Doctrine ORM;

• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached;

• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js);

• Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles;

• Basic knowledge of the Nginx web server;

• Experience with AWS.
