Join us as an HR Data Engineer, where you will play a critical role in transforming HR data into a trusted, secure, and reusable asset that powers business decisions and HR operations globally. Combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of HR processes, you will design and deliver data migration, integration, automation, and reporting solutions that enable successful system implementations and continuous operational excellence.

Working in an automation-first environment, you will leverage tools such as Python, SQL, RPA, and Oracle HCM to build scalable solutions, streamline complex data processes, and ensure the highest standards of data quality, governance, and security. You'll partner with project teams and HR stakeholders to manage end-to-end data migration activities, troubleshoot challenges, and deliver efficient, repeatable solutions that support both major transformation programmes and business-as-usual operations.

Your key accountabilities include:

• Solution Design,Build, and Support - independently design,build (components), and support/troubleshoot medium-to-high complexity data solutions (transformation, migration and operational / migration-support reporting) to best-practice standards.
• Data Conversion & Migratio n - develop and operate scripted automation (Python, SQL) for data conversion supporting recurring, cookbook-driven implementation projects; operate industry-standard migration tools to transform and load into target systems.
• Standards-Compliant Loading - ensure converted data complies with HR master-data standards; identify and reject exceptions prior to loading; troubleshoot and resolve loading errors during migrations and for live BAU solutions.
• Mass-Load Template Tailoring - tailor Oracle HCM standard 'business object' model mass-load templates - which contain all fields supported by the business object - down to targeted recurring mass-load needs, producing slimmer, easier-to-understand templates that the HR Data Management Operations team re-uses for recurring and common mass-load requests.
• RPA Flow Design & Build - design and build supporting components (Python scripts) for medium-to-high complexity RPA end-to-end flows that perform mass data creation and maintenance, ensuring master-data-standards compliance.
• Cleanse Planning & Tracking - plan cleanse and migration steps and timelines to project plans and migration methodology; proactively track progress for timeline adherence and standards compliance; manage the data-owner relationship through cleansing to completion.
• Process-First Structuring - understand HR process dependencies to sequence data migration and structure HR master data to meet process and analytical requirements.

What are we looking for from you?

• Technical: Python and SQL scripting (data conversion, migration); ETL and industry-standard migration tools; Oracle HCM (or equivalent) business-object / HDL mass-load templates and OTBI / BI Publisher; medium-to-high complexity RPA design and build; medium to advanced Power BI (Power Query, DAX).
• Data quality & delivery: master-data-standards compliance, exception handling, structured error resolution; data privacy and security by design.
• Ways of workin g: independent medium-to-high complexity design; project delivery on recurring / cookbook patterns; agile; process-first, systematic thinking.
