Job Description:

Load & Performance Test Engineer:

• JMeter expertise
• Java programming skills
• Performance test design and execution
• Baseline metric definition and evaluation
• Performance bottleneck investigation
• Test reporting and analysis
• Application performance optimization support

Expectations and task remain the same for both.

Expectations:

• Strong understanding of software quality practices, test automation, and performance testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks and gaps, and contribute proactively during refinement and planning sessions.
• Good knowledge of system architecture and ability to investigate issues using logs, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience building maintainable automation solutions.
• Experience with performance testing concepts, including workload design, baseline definition, bottleneck analysis, and optimization.
• Ability to work independently within a self-organized team and collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders.
• Quality-focused mindset with attention to test coverage, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Tasks:

• Test user stories delivered by the team and implement automated tests to ensure high-quality releases.
• Analyze new requirements, identify potential risks, define test approaches, and contribute to story refinement.
• Review Pull Requests, verify code quality, and ensure sufficient unit test coverage.
• Design, document, and maintain functional and automated test scenarios.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and implement additional tests where required.
• Investigate customer issues using Azure, application logs, and observability platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Design and execute performance tests using JMeter.
• Define baseline performance metrics and evaluate system performance against expected results.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support application performance optimization through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with engineering teams.
