Team Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Marketing Operations Intern with a strong focus on finance and procurement processes. In this role, you will support budget management, financial analysis, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth operations between marketing, finance, and procurement teams. You will also contribute to process automation that would help generate business insights that improve decision making.

This role is a great opportunity to understand how a large Marketing organization operates behind the scenes, gain exposure to different stakeholders and develop strong operational, analytical and problem solving skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting budget management and tracking, helping maintain accurate visibility of marketing spend, commitments, pending items and budget execution

• Managing key procurement and vendor processes, including purchase requests, POs, contracts and approval follow-ups.

• Supporting billing, reconciliation and payment processes, ensuring invoices are correctly matched against POs, approved scopes and previous billings.

• Maintaining accurate operational controls and trackers, proactively identifying pending items, aging, deadlines and potential risks.

• Working closely with the Senior Marketing Operations Analyst and cross functional teams such as Finance, Procurement and Legal to solve operational issues and keep processes moving on time.

• Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes, using data, technology and AI to make our ways of working more efficient.

Role Qualifications

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Business or a related field.

• You are comfortable working with numbers and data and have strong interest in forecasting processes, accruals/amortization, P&L statements, and budget management tools. Have strong attention to detail and good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

• You are highly organized, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.

• You are curious, enjoy solving problems and challenging existing ways of working, and are always looking for opportunities to improve.

• You are comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work and are curious about how AI can be used to analyze information, automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.

• You are comfortable communicating in English and Spanish in a professional environment.

• Previous internship or work experience is a plus, but not required - we care more about your learning agility, ownership and willingness to grow.
