Import Export Coordinator (Textile/Fabrics)

We are seeking an experienced Import Export Coordinator to manage import and export operations, shipment documentation, customs compliance, vendor coordination, and international order fulfilment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, import regulations, duties, taxation, and container clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments, including the preparation and verification of required documentation.
• Track shipment status and take immediate action on delays, bottlenecks, or operational escalations.
• Ensure inbound shipments comply with purchase-order terms related to quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with the finance team for the timely payment and verification of import duties, tariffs, freight charges, and other transactional costs.
• Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure goods are prepared and dispatched on schedule.
• Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, transporters, suppliers, and other logistics service providers.
• Assist in resolving disputes and operational issues involving customs authorities, shipping companies, or logistics partners.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure the timely procurement of required inventory.
• Manage local purchase coordination, including vendor follow-ups, dispatch confirmations, and delivery reconciliation.
• Handle quality-related escalations, coordinate discussions with vendors, and process claims for replacements, recoveries, or penalties.
• Coordinate with international buyers for documentation, regulatory compliance, and smooth fulfilment of export orders.
• Manage priority sales orders, returns, customer complaints, payment follow-ups, and related coordination.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with international trade laws and company procedures.
• Monitor shipment costs and identify opportunities to improve logistics and sampling cost efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a graduate degree will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import-export operations, international trading, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import regulations, international shipping practices, and container-clearance processes.
• Understanding of duties, tariffs, taxation, and import-export documentation.
• Familiarity with textile products and the textile trading market will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using CRM or shipment-tracking software will be an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple shipments and priorities.

CTC: Competitive Salary (Based on current CTC)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break
