Operations Analyst

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support and manage day-to-day operational activities within the wealth and asset management domain. The role involves client onboarding across platforms such as BSE and NSE, handling client queries, monitoring transaction status, preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a commerce background, strong analytical and communication skills, and a good understanding of Mutual Funds and financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor day-to-day operational activities, including client onboarding across platforms such as BSE and NSE.
• Address client queries, track transaction status, prepare and send reports, and manage physical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, minimal complaints, and timely resolution of issues.
• Collect and analyse Mutual Fund data as required by the team.
• Maintain trackers for operational action items and follow up with relevant teams to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate independently with various Asset Management Companies (AMCs) to resolve operational and client-related queries.
• Support the evaluation and analysis of Mutual Funds, PMS, and other investment products.
• Update databases on a monthly basis and prepare periodic reports.
• Assist in preparing Mutual Fund research reports on a quarterly basis.
• Update investment values, factsheets, and related reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in operations, financial services, wealth management, asset management, or a related domain.
• BBA/MBA or a relevant qualification with a commerce background; MBA is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, including the ability to use Excel formulas.
• Understanding of Mutual Fund schemes and investment products.
• NISM Mutual Fund Distributor Certification is preferred; candidates willing to obtain the certification after joining may also be considered.
• Previous experience working with an Asset Management Company (AMC) will be an added advantage.
• Strong coordination, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
