Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
  • Test, debug, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
  • Modify and enhance existing software to improve functionality and reliability.
  • Develop technical documentation and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define performance and system requirements.
  • Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Ensure efficient database interactions and server resource utilisation.
  • Contribute to the design and development of enterprise-grade backend platforms.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  • Experience with Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
  • Solid backend development experience with server-side application design and development.
  • Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and query optimisation.
  • Knowledge of functional programming principles.
  • Experience in web application development.
  • Strong server-side engineering expertise.
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies and IT concepts.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies is an advantage.
  • Exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus.
