Engineer Technical Services

About The Role

As an Engineer, Technical Services, you deliver expert technical support that enables customers to maximize the performance and reliability of their systems throughout the full equipment lifecycle. Your hands-on expertise and customer-focused approach directly strengthen DKSH's after-sales service capability and deepen long-term client partnerships.

What You Will Deliver

General responsibilities:

• Guide customers and provide technical consultancy and assistance regarding installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems and equipment.
• Perform on-site technical service activities to ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare progress reports, service reports, and timesheets accurately and on time for each assignment.
• Work closely with Sales and other departments to promote technical solutions and support customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong professional working relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical partner.
• Support the achievement of annual service targets and contribute to business growth through quality service delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers when required.
• Perform administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the Sales Supervisor and Service Leader.

Leadership responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for service quality, customer satisfaction, and assigned targets.
• Collaborate effectively with sales and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct in all customer interactions while representing the company.
• Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Represent DKSH values in all customer and supplier interactions, upholding ethical, professional, and compliant conduct at all time.

What You Bring

Functional skills and knowledge:

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.
• Good understanding of industrial equipment, control systems, and technical service processes.
• Experience in SMT, dispensing machines, semiconductor equipment, or process industry applications is an advantage.
• Familiarity with equipment such as handling systems, printers, mounters, reflow ovens, plasma machines, X-ray machines, precision dispensing systems, and Robot XYZ programming is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken. Japanese, Korean, or Chinese language capability is an advantage

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Electronics and Electrical Engineering background is preferred.

Work experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical service, field service engineering, equipment maintenance, or related engineering roles.
• Experience in SMT, dispensing machines, semiconductor equipment, or process industries is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and customer support for industrial equipment is preferred.
