Product Specialist

About the Role

The Product Specialist (Medical Device - Point-of-Care Testing) drives product performance and sales growth for Point-of-Care Testing (POCT), allergy, and related products across General Practitioner (GP) clinics, pharmacies, and private hospitals within designated territories. This role serves as the subject matter expert, working closely with sales, marketing, and customers to ensure effective product positioning and better patient outcomes through earlier and more accurate diagnosis.

What You Will Deliver

• Achieve sales targets for Point-of-Care Testing (POCT), allergy, and related products across General Practitioner (GP) clinics, pharmacies, and private hospitals in designated areas, while proactively identifying and developing new potential accounts to expand analyzer uptake and product categories
• Educate doctors and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on POCT analyzers for disease screening, early diagnosis, and effective patient monitoring, as well as on allergy management across the full continuum from diagnosis to treatment
• Defend and grow existing customer accounts to expand patient access to POCT systems, and deliver compelling product presentations and after-sales support to maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Attend to customer requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly and effectively, maintain and update the customer database accurately, and monitor competitor activities on a regular basisEnsure timely and accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and reporting for assigned products
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Minimum Degree in Bioscience, Bioengineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in POCT or allergy-related products; prior sales experience in GP, private hospital, or pharmaceutical settings is an advantage
• Experience in handling Continuing Medical Education (CME) talks
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an independent, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership
• Willingness to travel outstation as needed (approximately 25%)
