The company
Our client is a B2B SaaS product company working in marketing data and analytics. The platform helps B2B marketing teams see which companies engage with their campaigns, connect that activity to CRM data, and show what actually turns into revenue. The product is past the early stage and in active growth - the engineering team ships continuously and feature velocity is high.
The team is small and senior - product, backend, frontend and data engineering, around ten people in total. Work runs in sprints with planning and retrospectives, on AWS-managed infrastructure.
Why this role exists
Two things are slowing the team down. The CTO is carrying too much coordination - breaking requirements down, running syncs, unblocking developers. And test coverage has not kept pace with shipping speed, so bugs that automation would have caught reach production.
The role closes both gaps. On the project management side, it takes task creation and day-to-day coordination off the CTO. On the QA side, it owns and grows the automated testing layer.
An important detail: part of that layer already exists. Several modules are covered by automated tests built with AI tooling, and the code is in the repository. The person joining extends a working base rather than starting from zero - but also inherits responsibility for its quality.
Neither half of this role is a full-time job on its own. Together they are exactly one, and both halves are real - this is not a PM role with some testing attached, or a QA role with some coordination attached.
What you will own
Project management
- Take requirements from the CTO and turn them into detailed, developer-ready tasks and epics in ClickUp, following the established task framework
- Run sprint planning and retrospectives, keep the team unblocked, and handle routine coordination without escalating
- Own documentation - technical specs and requirement breakdowns that stay current
- Sit between product intent and engineering execution: understand the business logic behind what is being built, not just the task list
- Track progress, surface risks early, and make sure what gets decided gets finished
QA automation
- Own and extend the automated testing framework - end-to-end, regression and API coverage; you choose the tools and the language
- Validate what the automation produces. Generated tests and generated results are a draft until a person has checked them against the product
- Triage bugs by root cause - frontend or backend - before routing them to developers
- Write test plans, document edge cases, and build coverage that prevents regressions rather than recording them
Who we are looking for
- 3-5 years total, with at least 1.5 years in project or product management and at least 1.5 years in QA engineering recently
- QA experience with a clear move into automation. Manual-only QA is not a fit
- Demonstrated ability to break product requirements into structured technical tasks for a development team
- Experience running sprint planning and retrospectives, or working closely inside that process
- Working knowledge of SQL, enough to validate data at database level
- Ability to tell a frontend bug from a backend bug quickly and describe it precisely
- English B1 or above, enough for written communication and technical documentation
How you work with AI
You should be using AI tools heavily to build and accelerate your own work. The person in this role has to read, run and verify what the tools produce before it ships, and has to understand the product well enough to know when the output is wrong.
How you manage yourself
This is a remote role on a small team with no one checking in on you daily. Work is planned and time-tracked in ClickUp. You should be able to hold several threads across PM and QA at once without dropping them or waiting to be told what is next.
Nice to have
- Background at a product company (preferred, though not a hard filter)
- B2B SaaS experience in a QA, PM or hybrid role
- Exposure to marketing technology - attribution, analytics, ad tech, CRM or similar
- English C1
What the company offers
- Direct access to decision-makers in a flat structure - the CTO is your manager, open for daily communication
- Freedom to choose your own QA tooling and language; no mandated stack on the testing side
- A real product with traction and a team that ships
- Full access to modern AI tooling as part of the working setup
- Investment in growth - the company is willing to develop this person further as a PM and as a user of AI tooling, including paid courses and a LinkedIn Learning subscription
- An established process framework (ClickUp, sprints) you can improve over time

Before you apply
To help us review your application efficiently, please answer three short questions in the cover letter. There are no right or wrong answers - we're looking for clarity and specifics, not length.
1. Describe a product or feature you managed as a Project Manager from brief to release. What broke along the way, and what did you do about it?
2. Walk us through a QA automation framework you built or meaningfully improved. What was the coverage before and after, and what stack did you use?
3. Show us a specific example of how AI tools changed the way you work - a workflow, a test, a process, or a decision that you handle differently because of AI. What tool, what task, what result?
Applications without answers to these questions will not be reviewed.
