Delivery Driver - 10486 W Florissant Ave

We're looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our St. Louis location (10486 W Florissant Ave). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers throughout the St. Louis area while maintaining exceptional service standards. You will be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with care. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times
• Load, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights to customer locations
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery confirmations and customer feedback
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or mechanical concerns
• Communicate professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets while maintaining a high standard of service quality
• Ensure packages are handled with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, and vehicle operation

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating delivery vehicles or commercial trucks
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning
• Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
• Familiarity with delivery management software and mobile applications (preferred)
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation services (preferred)
• Physical capability to work in various weather conditions and environments
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
