Technical Project Manager (HPC infrastructure)

We are looking for a talented Technical Project Manager to join our growing team in Milan and help shape the future of our flagship project, Colosseum, one of Europe’s most powerful AI supercomputers, currently in development.

Designed to run our proprietary AI models at scale, it forms the compute backbone behind the intelligence we deliver to the world’s most demanding industries.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will drive the delivery of AI-computing solutions for our clients across the full engagement lifecycle, from pre-sales through target increment and hypercare. You will define and prioritize the product backlog, translate business needs into technical requirements, and own MVP definition and product increment deliverables. Furthermore, you'll work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the success of the initiatives. The Colosseum teams are deeply engaged in designing, deploying and operating supercomputers from the infrastructure all the way to the cloud stacks.

This role is ideal for a Technical Project Manager who is comfortable operating in highly technical, infrastructure-heavy environments and who can engage credibly with both business stakeholders and deep engineering teams working on some of the most advanced computing systems available today.

What you Have

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager and at least 2 years as a Product Owner - ideally in the same or overlapping roles.

• Experience in a PM/PO role with deploying and operating supercomputers at scale, including data center infrastructure - power and cooling.

• Experience in a PM/PO role with designing, deploying and operating AI cloud environments

• Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and Business Intelligence

• Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements

• Expertise in Agile methodologies and related tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Expertise in Project management methodologies and related tools

• Proficiency in managing relationship with clients

• Solid organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Fluent in Italian and English and eager to contribute in a multicultural and international environment.

We offer a competitive salary, as well as an opportunity to receive company equity. The typical salary for this role ranges between € 30.000 and € 60.000. As you gain experience and make more significant contributions to the business, your compensation will be reviewed to match your impact. Additionally, depending on your seniority and your performance, you'll have the opportunity to receive stock options, with a variable value calculated from your base salary, giving you the chance to directly participate in the company’s success.

Employment terms are governed by the CCNL Commercio, the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Commerce, Distribution and Services sector.
