Marketing Manager

Purpose

• A leading resort in Athi River with over 70 executive villas is looking to fill a manager role.
• The Marketing Manager will manage and build the resort's brand and drive bookings, events and repeat business.

Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run marketing plans and promotions for rooms, F&B, events and conferences.
• Manage the website, social media, email and online travel agent (OTA) listings.
• Build relationships with tour operators, corporate clients and event planners.
• Oversee photography, content, advertising and the resort's online reputation and reviews.
• Track occupancy, bookings and campaign results; manage the marketing budget.
• Report on sales and marketing performance to the General Manager.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Hospitality.
• 3+ years in marketing or sales, preferably in hotels or tourism.
• Strong digital marketing, writing and communication skills.

Terms

• 3 month's probationary period
• 2 years renewable contracts subject to satisfactory performance
• Basic salary Kshs 50,000 gross per month
• Housing and food will be provided.
