Internship Cold Call Outreach Intern

DOTOMAT is seeking a motivated Cold Call Outreach Intern to join its Sales & Business Development team remotely (Malaysia-based). The intern will make outbound calls to prospective businesses, introduce products and services, qualify leads and book meetings to support B2B sales and lead generation during a 3–6 month internship.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound cold calls to prospective businesses in the Malaysian market using provided lead lists
• Introduce DOTOMAT’s products and services clearly and professionally
• Identify decision-makers, understand their needs and qualify leads
• Schedule demos and meetings for the sales team
• Follow up with interested prospects via phone, email or WhatsApp
• Record call outcomes, notes and lead status accurately in the CRM or tracking sheet
• Handle objections politely and escalate promising leads
• Meet weekly targets for calls made, leads qualified and meetings booked
• Share regular feedback and market insights with the team

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen or resident, currently based in Malaysia
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree programme (Business, Marketing, Communications or any related field preferred)
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or other local languages are a plus
• Excellent verbal communication with a clear, confident and friendly phone manner
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and handling rejection positively
• Reliable laptop or PC, stable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Basic computer skills (Google Sheets or Excel, email, online meeting tools)
• Self-disciplined, able to work independently in a remote setup
• Available for the full internship duration and the agreed working hours (25 hours per week, aligned to MYT)

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service or call centres
• Familiarity with CRM tools
• Interest in technology, SaaS or chatbot and AI solutions
