About you and this role:

Dow's Sales Organization is looking for exceptional students who are passionate about working with people and eager to contribute to a global company known for its innovation, talent, and inclusive culture. The Sales Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain meaningful experience within Sales at a Fortune 100 company.

Throughout the 12-week internship, participants work alongside talented interns from across the U.S. while gaining hands-on business experience, expanding their professional network, and strengthening their sales and business acumen. Interns lead a project with direct relevance to Dow's growth strategy, applying their unique interests and strengths to real business challenges.

Designed for both technical and business majors, the internship offers meaningful work that helps participants develop key professional skills, including business acumen, communication, project management, and collaboration. Interns gain exposure to a variety of functions and regularly interact with professionals across different levels, backgrounds, and areas of expertise.

To support their success, each intern is paired with a dedicated Project Mentor and provided with the resources needed to navigate their project and professional development. Throughout the summer, interns receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and opportunities to learn in both independent and team-based settings.

Successful interns may be considered for full-time opportunities in Dow's Commercial Development Program for Sales following graduation.

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering. Candidates enrolled in a master’s degree program will also be considered.
• Minimum GPA of 3.000 (4.000 scale) is preferred.
• A minimum requirement for a U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

• Leading Projects: Planning, executing, and delivering projects within a defined timeline.
• Teamwork: Work productively in team environments while also being capable of independent work.
• Sales: Understand the sales process, customer needs, sales calls, and value proposition delivery.
• Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Notes:

• The role will be in-person based out of Dow’s Headquarters in Midland, MI.
• Qualifying students will receive relocation support.
• Personal transportation to and from the office is a requirement as public transportation is not available.
