About you and this role
At Dow, we are helping shape the future of sustainable materials, energy, and global value chains. As one of the world's largest consumers of feedstocks and energy, our success depends on understanding complex commodity markets, anticipating market shifts, and identifying opportunities that strengthen our long-term competitive position.
We are seeking a Chief of Staff to join our Global Commodity Risk Management & Business Development (CRM) team and provide strategic support to the Global Director, Feedstocks & Commodities, based in Horgen, Switzerland.
This is a highly visible role that combines strategic planning, market analysis, commercial evaluation, and executive support. Rather than focusing on direct sales or customer-facing activities, you will help identify growth opportunities, assess market developments, develop business cases, and provide insights that support strategic decisions across Dow's Feedstocks & Commodities organization.
Designed as a developmental opportunity for future leaders, this position offers broad exposure to global commodity and energy markets, commercial and trading activities, corporate strategy, and senior leadership. Over time, the role may expand into broader Chief of Staff responsibilities supporting leaders across the organization.
Working closely with commercial teams, traders, corporate treasury, investor relations, strategic planning, and external partners, you will transform market intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence business priorities, investment decisions, and risk management strategies. The role also involves frequent interaction with Arabic-speaking stakeholders, business partners, and market participants across the region.
This role is ideally suited for intellectually curious and commercially minded professionals who enjoy solving complex business challenges through rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in commercial negotiations, partnership development, financial markets, risk management, or transaction support would be an advantage.
If you are passionate about connecting market dynamics with business strategy and turning insights into meaningful outcomes, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your career while contributing to Dow's long-term success.

- Track critical initiatives, strengthen accountability, and help leadership convert strategic decisions into effective execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess opportunities that strengthen Dow's competitive position in feedstocks, commodities, and energy markets.

- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, commercial strategy, corporate development, commodities, energy markets, investment analysis, consulting, or related fields.
