Contracts Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our NSW/ACT team. This role will primarily supporting our Asphalting business while also contributing across the broader Downer Transport & Infrastructure Commercial & Risk function as required.

Based in our Eastern Creek office, this full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing team, providing commercial and contract administration support from pre-contract through to successful project delivery. The role may also involve travel between project sites across NSW and ACT, providing exposure to a diverse range of projects and stakeholders.

About You

This role is ideally suited to someone with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, along with:

• Undergraduate degree in Law, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying highly advantageous.
• Previous exposure to the civil, construction or heavy industrial sectors preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply contract terms and legislative requirements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Well-developed analytical, planning and prioritisation skills.
