Talent Acquisition Business Partner
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Energy & Utilities People and Culture team based in Brisbane.
This role is ideal for a recruitment professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys partnering with leaders to attract and hire skilled blue collar talent across major infrastructure, utilities, maintenance and project work throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As a trusted recruitment partner, you will manage end to end recruitment activities across a diverse portfolio of operational and field based roles. You will work closely with hiring leaders to develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines and deliver exceptional candidate experiences while ensuring compliance and quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end to end recruitment across blue collar and operational positions
- Partnering with hiring leaders to understand workforce requirements and recruitment priorities
- Developing proactive sourcing strategies to attract skilled talent in competitive markets
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs
- Managing candidate engagement and communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Utilising recruitment systems, data and market insights to drive informed hiring decisions
- Ensuring recruitment activities align with organisational and legislative requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice recruitment processes
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Previous experience in blue collar, trades, industrial, utilities, construction, resources or infrastructure recruitment
- Demonstrated success managing end to end recruitment in a high volume environment
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building capability
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
- Experience using recruitment systems and sourcing tools
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
