JOB SUMMARY:
The Trainee, Engineering (M&E) supports the engineering team by assisting with basic drafting, technical calculations, documentation and coordination tasks while undergoing structured on-the-job training. The role provides exposure to mechanical and electrical engineering design workflows, site practices and multidisciplinary project coordination.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist engineers in preparing simple mechanical and electrical drawings and BIM models.
- Support basic engineering calculations, load schedules and equipment listings under supervision.
- Help maintain design documentation, drawing registers and submission files.
- Provide administrative and coordination support during meetings and project reviews.
- Participate in site visits to observe installation, testing and commissioning processes.
- Learn engineering standards, drafting techniques and M&E system fundamentals.
- Support data collection, research of materials and technical references. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related engineering fields.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Basic understanding of engineering concepts and drafting tools (AutoCAD or Revit preferred).
- Willingness to learn, good teamwork and strong attention to detail.
