Site Manager
About the role
As a Site Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a Contract Logistics site, ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while supporting business growth and customer success. Working closely with customers, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will create an environment where people can perform at their best and where continuous improvement is encouraged.
This role is critical in delivering operational excellence, building strong customer partnerships, and ensuring business objectives are achieved. You will play a key role in leading teams, driving performance, supporting employee development, and creating positive outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the wider business.
How you will contribute
- Lead site operations to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused logistics services.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, acting as a key contact for operational matters, escalations, and future planning discussions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with finance and operational teams to manage budgets, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for efficiency and sustainable growth.
- Support workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture where clear communication, accountability, and teamwork are valued.
- Identify and support opportunities for business expansion, customer growth, and new operational initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, security, customs, environmental, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with regional and cross-functional teams to align operational priorities and successfully manage change.
- Oversee facility-related activities and contribute to the successful implementation of new customer solutions and business launches.
