Team Lead Technical Sales (m/w/d) - Animal Nutrition

To that end, we are looking for someone who can strategically lead Technical Sales, further develop our international TS team, and translate product strength into market success.

Your tasks are:

• Lead, empower, and further develop the international Technical Sales (TS) team of six employees, both functionally and disciplinarily.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments, derive recommendations for action, and contribute to the ongoing development of the product portfolio.
• Translate technical product features into clear customer benefits, technical articles, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Plan and manage the departmental budget as well as testing and trial activities.
• Provide technical support, consulting, and training to sales teams and customers, both nationally and internationally.
• Simplify, optimize, and scale Technical Sales processes.

What we expect from you:

• a completed degree in a natural science discipline (MSc), ideally with a PhD
• several years of experience in technical sales, technical marketing, product management or a comparable role
• ideally, you already have experience in leadership, team coordination or the professional development of team members
• a very good understanding of feed additives, animal nutrition or related industries, as well as product positioning and product life cycles
• willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis and to occasionally work from our site in Niederzissen
• business-fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
• very good command of MS Office, strong presentation and facilitation skills and confidence in using generative AI
• the ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearly and with a strong customer focus
