Product Manager

Role Description

DocSend is evolving from a secure virtual data room into a deal execution platform. We’re seeking a Product Manager to help shape the next phase of DocSend’s growth.

As a Product Manager on DocSend, you’ll own a broad set of customer experiences spanning from foundational workflows, like onboarding and content management, to our largest strategic initiatives, like AI-powered document analysis and multi-product integration. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and cross-functional partners to understand customer needs, set priorities, make product tradeoffs, and turn opportunities into high-quality experiences.

This is an end-to-end product ownership role. You’ll combine customer empathy, quantitative and qualitative insight, strong product judgment, and clear communication to determine which problems matter most and guide the team from discovery through launch and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing DocSend product areas end-to-end, from identifying customer problems and defining strategy through prioritization, execution, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Drive foundational improvements across experiences, balancing near-term customer needs with the long-term quality and health of the product.
• Identify and develop strategic opportunities across Dropbox and DocSend, including multi-product experiences.
• Develop a deep understanding of DocSend customers through research, product data, feedback, and direct customer context, translating insights into clear product decisions and priorities.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to define problems, evaluate options and tradeoffs, maintain a high quality bar, and guide cross-functional execution.
• Define success measures, use quantitative and qualitative evidence to evaluate outcomes, and adapt the roadmap as customer needs, business priorities, technology, and market conditions evolve.
• Use AI and automation thoughtfully to improve workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or closely related experience, with experience owning customer-facing product experiences end-to-end.
• Demonstrated ability to identify important customer problems, make prioritization and product tradeoffs, and translate strategy into clear product direction.
• Strong customer empathy and ability to combine qualitative customer understanding with quantitative evidence when making product decisions.
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design to navigate ambiguity, technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and product-quality decisions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to define success measures, interpret product and business data, and use evidence to guide iteration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create alignment across cross-functional partners and clearly communicate decisions and tradeoffs.
• Adaptability and curiosity, including an ability to learn new domains and technologies and thoughtfully incorporate AI-enabled workflows while maintaining strong product judgment and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and evolving B2B or SaaS products.
• Experience with products supporting business-critical document or content workflows.
• Experience developing multi-product experiences or workflows spanning multiple product surfaces.
• Experience developing AI-enabled customer experiences or using AI tools as part of the product development workflow.
