About the Role  

Join Nakisa as a Product Manager - IWMS, responsible for driving the growth, adoption, and success of Nakisa's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) product portfolio, including solutions supporting Portfolio Management, Facility Management, Capital Projects, Lease Administration, Vendor Management, and Workplace Operations. 

In this cross-functional role, you will own key areas of the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with Engineering, UX, Customer Success, Professional Services, Sales, Marketing, and customers to define product strategy, shape the roadmap, and deliver innovative solutions that address evolving real estate and workplace management challenges. 

You will play a critical role in connecting customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives to ensure Nakisa's IWMS solutions continue to deliver exceptional value to enterprise customers worldwide. This role reports to the Director of Product - IWMS and is ideal for a passionate Product Manager seeking to make a meaningful impact in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and enterprise SaaS space. 

What You'll Be Doing  

Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management  

• Own and manage the product lifecycle for designated IWMS products and capabilities, from ideation through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. 

• Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives, customer priorities, and market opportunities. 

• Establish and monitor product KPIs and success metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to guide product decisions and measure outcomes. 

• Translate strategic objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks. 

Market & Customer Insights  

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery activities to identify trends, opportunities, and product differentiation. 

• Engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product direction. 

• Transform customer and market insights into product enhancements, new capabilities, and long-term strategic initiatives. 

• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. 

Product Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership  

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, QA, and Architecture teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery of product initiatives. 

• Participate in Agile planning activities, backlog management, feature prioritization, and release planning. 

• Partner with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams to understand customer challenges and continuously improve the customer experience. 

• Serve as the subject matter expert throughout the development lifecycle. 

Customer Engagement & Domain Expertise  

• Support customer onboarding, implementation, and go-live activities by providing product and domain expertise. 

• Facilitate product workshops, requirement sessions, and solution validation discussions with customers when necessary. 

• Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. 

Pre-Sales, RFP & Industry Support  

• Support pre-sales activities by conducting product demonstrations and articulating product value propositions. 

• Contribute to RFP, RFI, and security review responses. 

• Partner with Sales to help position Nakisa's IWMS portfolio against competitors. 

• Participate in customer evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and executive presentations. 

Go-to-Market & Product Marketing  

• Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop messaging, positioning, sales enablement materials, battle cards, webinars, blogs, and thought leadership content. 

• Support product launches and market introduction activities. 

Innovation & Industry Leadership  

• Stay current on Commercial Real Estate, Facility Management, Workplace Management, ESG, AI, and IWMS market trends. 

• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI and analytics capabilities, within the product portfolio. 

• Contribute to the evolution of Nakisa's long-term product vision and strategic direction.

What You Bring  

• 5+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, or related experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments. 

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 

• Experience defining roadmaps, KPIs, product vision, and driving product execution. 

• Demonstrated ability to translate customer feedback into successful product outcomes. 

• Strong collaboration skills across Engineering, UX, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services. 

• Ability to leverage product metrics and business data to drive decision-making. 

• Understanding of enterprise software architectures, integrations, APIs, and cloud-based applications. 

• Experience working in Agile product development environments. 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field. 

• Understanding of AI capabilities and emerging technologies within enterprise software. 

• Fluency in English is required, as this role serves as a primary point of contact for Nakisa's global client base, requiring consistent written and verbal communication with enterprise clients, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams located outside Quebec.*

Nice-to-Haves  

• Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Corporate Real Estate (COR), Facility Management, Lease Administration, Capital Projects, or Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS). 

• Experience working with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, or other enterprise platforms. 

• Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, reporting, and analytics solutions. 

• Knowledge of financial, accounting, lease accounting, or real estate portfolio management processes. 

• Real estate certifications or industry designations (BOMA, IFMA, CoreNet, PMP, CPA, or related certifications). 

• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations and customer onboarding initiatives.
