Engineer/Senior Engineer (Counter Drones)

OVERVIEW

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise large scale complex networked (i.e. System-of-Systems) capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples include:

• Delivering advanced technologies for counter drone applications across the Multi-Domain Air-Land-Sea battlespace
• Leveraging emerging commercial technologies such as drone jammers across peace to war applications
• Building a sustainable drone threat library for resilient detection

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Communications and Drone Robotics to:

• Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
• Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems and platforms worldwide to deliver cohesive System-of Systems capabilities
• Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
• Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
• Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally
• Manage and improve the systems to meet operational requirements

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics
• Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing, Computer Networking, is advantageous
• Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
• Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
• Willing to travel for overseas work trips
