Engineer/Senior Engineer (Marine Systems)

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples include:

• Integration and deployment of various platform systems, including propulsion, power generation and onboard equipment on naval platforms (surface ships, submarines) to ensure our naval vessels operate efficiently and reliably under demanding conditions

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Marine Systems to:

• Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
• Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
• Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
• Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
• Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
• Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
• Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
• Willing to travel for overseas work trips
