WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Design and build backend systems that are clean, testable, and efficient
Ship customer-facing features as an engineer in one of our product teams
Work closely with Deployment, go-to-market teams and our customers to bring them to life
Turn repeated setup work into product improvements
Bring care to testing, quality, and long-term maintainability
Shape our engineering practices and technical culture
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3 to 5+ years as a backend engineer at a modern tech company
High level of ownership and care for your work, with a track record to show for it
You enjoy working with customers and can explain technical things to people who aren't engineers
You take feedback quickly and turn it into growth

Bonus if you've worked on AI features and how to evaluate them, or on product analytics.
Our current stack includes Node.js + TypeScript, Event Sourcing, Express, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS. Experience with these is a plus, but not required. We are more excited about how you approach problems and find solutions.
