IT Support Specialist (Meeting Room Support & Power Platform) based in Dublin, Ireland 5 days onsite
About the role:
The Managed Meeting Room Service is part of the OTX Team and provides 2nd Level onsite support for meeting room technologies across SAP. The team ensures stable, secure, and modern AV, Unified Communications, and collaboration services, working closely with global SAP teams and third-party vendors.
Role Summary
This role is critical to the operational support and continuous improvement of managed meeting room services. The IT Support Specialist supports day to day operations while contributing to planning, documentation, disaster recovery and service improvements.
The role also supports digital transformation initiatives, including the development of Power Platform solutions to automate processes, analyse service data, and modernise legacy systems. This position offers exposure to project management, operational management, AV standards development, and enterprise automation within a diverse and inclusive team.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Technical Support
·Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for meeting room tooling.
·Maintain and manage meeting room equipment across the core business
portfolio.
·Perform disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
·Collaborate with 3rd level technical teams and external vendors on
infra-structure and installations.
·Monitor vendor performance, support procedures, and escalate issues as
required.
Power Platform & Automation
·Design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions using Canvas
Apps, SharePoint, Data Factory and Power Automate workflows
·Create and customise various data entities, forms, views, and relationships.
·Support data migration from legacy systems to new systems.
·Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics using Power BI.
·Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and
third-party systems.
·Ensure all solutions follow security, governance, accessibility and best
practices.
Data, Reporting & Process Improvement
·Analyse ServiceNow ticket data and meeting room performance metrics.
·Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
·Build reports, dashboards, documentation, and applications to improve
visibility and decision making.
·Drive process automation and service improvements using agile and data
driven approaches.
Project & Knowledge Management
·Lead and deliver IT and AV related projects to successful completion.
·Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
·Drive testing, training, and knowledge transfer 2nd level support teams.
·Build action plans to improve user experience, processes, and product
innovation.
·Foster strong working relationships across IT, business stakeholders and
vendors.
Required Experience & Skills
·Proven experience in 2nd Level IT Support, technical support, or technical
implementation roles.
·Strong experience with: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android Microsoft 365 and
Power PlatformIT asset management and ticketing systems
(e.g. ServiceNow)
·Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and
Power BI.
·Solid understanding of AV, meeting room, and Unified Communications
technologies.
·Experience working in Agile environments.
·Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
·Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
·Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
·Demonstrated interest in process improvement, automation and
innovation.
