The Product Manager, Due Diligence & Legal Filings, is responsible for implementing the strategic vision, roadmap, and delivery of key Canadian products within the Due diligence & Legal Filings Portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Product, this role leads the translation of business strategy into prioritized product outcomes, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives. The Product Manager provides leadership to Product Owners and Product Analysts, manages key external stakeholder relationships, and drives the adoption of AI-enabled product and operational practices. This role is critical to maintaining portfolio growth, supporting Ministry and vendor partnerships, delivering roadmap commitments, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives across the Canadian Due Diligence & Legal Filings portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities 

Execute the product strategy and vision for the Due Diligence & Legal Filings portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.

Own and manage the product roadmap, including prioritization, sequencing, and trade-off decisions across multiple products and initiatives.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Contribute to the development of business cases and investment recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes and profitability.

Lead the product development lifecycle from concept and planning through delivery, enhancement, and retirement.

Work closely with Product Owners to develop, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs and roadmaps.

Collaborate with Software Development Managers to align product priorities, development capacity, and delivery plans.

Partner with UI/UX teams to deliver intuitive, customer-focused product experiences.

Lead agile product delivery activities, including backlog management, release planning, requirements definition, and prioritization.

Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and business data to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on roadmap progress, strategic initiatives, risks, and performance metrics.

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams.

Ensure organizational readiness for product launches, enhancements, and customer-facing initiatives.

Serve as the primary product contact for Ministry stakeholders, vendor partners, and external organizations.

Manage regulatory requirements, program changes, vendor dependencies, and key stakeholder commitments.

Lead the adoption and governance of AI tools, including though not limited to Microsoft Copilot and Claude, within product management processes and product capabilities.

Ensure AI initiatives align with organizational governance policies and approved technology standards.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Owners and Product Analysts, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Compliance, and executive stakeholders to align priorities and achieve business objectives.

Support strategic planning and portfolio growth initiatives across the Canadian product portfolio.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 

10+ years of Product Management experience within B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments.

Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through product strategy, roadmap execution, and product innovation.

Experience leading and developing Product Owners, Product Analysts, or other product management professionals.

Experience in the Due Diligence & Legal Filing domain within Canada.

Deep knowledge of delivering an API first strategy and partner integration. 

Strong experience managing products throughout the full product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement.

Demonstrated success working within Agile product development environments.

Experience creating and managing product roadmaps, business cases, requirements, and prioritization frameworks.

Strong understanding of software development processes, integrated technology ecosystems, and modern SaaS platforms.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX/UI, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Compliance.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience working with government agencies, regulatory organizations, vendors, and executive leadership.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage product and customer data to drive strategic decisions.

Commercially minded with the ability to balance business objectives, customer needs, revenue goals, and user experience considerations.

Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and influencing skills.

Experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make strategic trade-off decisions.

Experience with AI technologies, specifically Microsoft Copilot and Claude, and their application within product management, product development, and operational processes.

Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and technology adoption frameworks.

Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development capabilities. ]

Ability to build collaborative relationships and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

Bchelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

In line with the amended Employment Standards Act 2000, the salary range for this role is up to: $120K dependent on assessment of skills during the interview process.
