Risk Analytics Intern

Internship Description

This six-month internship offers hands-on exposure to hedge fund operations and the critical role of risk analytics in investment decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the production of daily risk analytics for reporting and monitoring, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with guidance
• Provide first-level support for production incidents, including initial investigation, issue triage, and escalation when required
• Build and enhance risk analytics tools to optimize data pipelines and process workflows
• Document data flows, work processes, and analytics methodologies
• Receive guidance and mentorship throughout your internship

Learning Outcomes

• Apply your academic knowledge of financial markets and data analysis in a real-world hedge fund environment
• Gain exposure to top-tier hedge fund trading, risk management, and quantitative analysis
• Develop hands-on experience in building, troubleshooting, and managing risk analytics projects

Requirement

• Quantitative-related field of study is required
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 6 months
• Proficient in Python and SQL, including data manipulation and debugging
• Experience with pandas, NumPy, or similar data-analysis libraries
• Proactive, meticulous, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk concepts
• Must be eligible to work in Singapore for the full duration of the internship
