Description
We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO) to lead and execute cross-functional projects across the Global Supply Chain organization. The role is designed for an experienced individual contributor who combines strong project management discipline with practical understanding of global planning, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
The PMO will personally drive projects from definition through implementation and closure, working directly with global and site teams to build plans, coordinate execution, remove obstacles, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure measurable business outcomes. This is not a people-management role; it requires ownership, active follow-up, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a global matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain projects end to end, from scope definition, business case, planning, and stakeholder alignment through execution, implementation, handover, and closure.
- Own detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, risk registers, and success measures.
- Work hands-on with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Quality, Engineering, and commercial stakeholders across global sites.
- Drive project execution through structured follow-up, problem solving, decision tracking, and timely escalation of risks and gaps.
- Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, steering reviews, and cross-functional status meetings; document decisions, owners, and due dates.
- Track project performance and business impact using clear KPIs, dashboards, action logs, Gantt charts, and executive summaries.
- Analyze operational data, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, and translate insights into practical actions.
- Support and lead initiatives related to planning processes, inventory and service improvement, supplier and procurement processes, logistics flows, network optimization, product or site transfers, and systems implementation.
- Promote consistent project management standards, templates, governance, and lessons learned across the Global Supply Chain organization.
- Support change management, implementation readiness, process adoption, and post-implementation follow-up to ensure sustainable results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in PMO, project management, supply chain, operations, or a similar cross-functional role.
- Proven experience independently leading complex cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Broad practical knowledge of supply chain processes, with exposure to global planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience working with international teams, global stakeholders, suppliers, or sites outside the home country.
- Strong project planning, execution, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with operational data, KPIs, and management reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with ERP and supply chain systems, such as planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing systems.
- Experience with Power BI or other dashboard and reporting tools.
- Experience in process improvement, change management, product transfers, systems implementation, or operational transformation.
- PMP, PMO, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certification is an advantage.
