Product Technical Manager
Job Summary**
As a Product Technical Manager at Dyson Research (Shanghai) Ltd - Shenzhen Branch, you will be a key technical leader responsible for driving the successful development and delivery of innovative Dyson products. You will bridge the gap between engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with product vision.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage the technical aspects of product development throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch support.
* Translate product requirements and user needs into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs.
* Collaborate closely with R&D, design, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure technical feasibility, quality, and adherence to timelines.
* Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks and challenges, proposing effective solutions.
* Drive technical decision-making and provide expert guidance to engineering teams on complex technical issues.
* Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and Dyson's quality expectations.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to Dyson products.
* Communicate technical concepts and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development, engineering management, or technical leadership roles, preferably within consumer electronics or a related industry.
* Proven track record of successfully bringing complex products to market.
* Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines (e.g., hardware, software, firmware, industrial design, manufacturing processes).
* Demonstrated experience in technical project management, including planning, execution, and risk management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical and data-driven approach.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment.
