Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Working from the site office of a major commercial project
• Responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of material submittals, RFI, shop drawings, method statements, and other engineering documents.
• Technically capable in understanding the submittals and effectively coordinates enclosure of the submittals.
• Preparation of reports of shop drawings, RFI and other submittals
• Ensuring the submittals are signed and stamped as per the contract with the client
• Coordinating with the contractor on the quality of the submittals
• Daily routine activities of Document controller, including distribution of documents, minutes of meetings, maintaining electronic folders and directories, tracking and retrieval of documents and drawings.
• Maintain document logs for correspondence, material approval submittals, shop drawing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• A minimum of (5) years experience as Document controller.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a sensitivity for competing deadlines.
• Strong communications abilities, including email correspondence and writing skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
