Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Reports to: Head of Business Development

Job Summary

• We seek a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive business growth, identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company's expansion in the quarry and mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the quarry and mining sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and business reports.
• Support the development and implementation of business strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and business activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' relevant experience in business development, sales, or a similar role (mining/quarry industry is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage
