Project Manager - Digital Integration Solutions

As a Project Manager for our Digital Integration Solutions team, you’ll be at the center of our customer relationships and project execution. You’ll lead complex projects from both a technical and commercial perspective, partnering closely with customers while coordinating Field Service Representatives, contractors, and internal teams.

This role offers a unique blend of project leadership, customer relationship management, engineering support, and financial responsibility. You’ll also contribute to business planning by supporting financial forecasts and annual profit plans, developing cost estimates for proposals and change orders, and participating in commercial negotiations.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $104000 - $152000 a year.

What you’ll do:

• Use modern project and program management tools and techniques to aid in the execution of projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS).
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, support Sales with initial and follow-up quotations for customers, interface and coordinate with other plants and business units within the company and outside vendors to procure parts and services for the district.
• Create clear and achievable cost, quality, and schedule objectives and follow these objectives through to successful completion; Reports, forecasts, and presents project financial activity to Eaton’s management.
• Estimate, prepare, submit, and manage change orders between customer and Eaton

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and prior experience leading and managing large ($100k+) service engineering projects of complex scope OR in lieu of a degree a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading and managing large ($100k+) service engineering projects of complex scope.
• Minimum 1 year of commissioning electrical equipment in construction/data center/mission critical environment.
• This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.

• Ability to travel - up to 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• PMP Certified
• Previous experience in coaching/mentoring of field personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and resolve complaints.

Skills:

POSITION CRITERIA:

• Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.
• In-depth knowledge of Eaton Power Monitoring software (Power Xpert, PowerNet, Foreseer, Brightlayer)
• Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.
• Strong organizational, project, time and task management skills, with use of personal computers and software systems to manage and track numerous priorities.
• Candidate needs to have a working knowledge of the overall sales function in regards to managing scope and necessary change order documentation
• Strong verbal communication; Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching/mentoring ability.
