Full Stack Engineer (Mid-Level)

ECA helps the world’s leading organisations move their people around the globe. Our multi-tenant SaaS platform, Expert, powers the policies, costs, workflows and insights behind international assignments. We’re now building AI into the heart of it.

We’re looking for a full stack engineer who enjoys shipping product and wants to get properly hands-on with AI. You’ll build features end to end in TypeScript, Node.js, React and PostgreSQL. A big part of your work will be the AI features our clients use.

Responsibilities

• Building product features from the UI right through to the database
• Building RAG pipelines that ingest, chunk, embed and search our data and documents
• Building agentic workflows on AWS Bedrock that take real actions for users
• Writing evals to measure AI quality, and monitoring cost, latency and behaviour in production
• Adding guardrails that keep AI features safe, private and trustworthy
• Using Claude Code every day, and helping shape how our team builds with AI

Requirements

• Around 3-5 years’ experience as a software engineer
• Solid TypeScript, Node.js, React and SQL skills
• At least one LLM-powered feature or project you’ve built, at work or on the side
• A working understanding of RAG, embeddings and vector search
• Curiosity, ownership, and a habit of measuring rather than guessing

You don’t need to tick every box. If you’ve built with LLMs and want to go deeper, we’d love to hear from you. Experience with Python, Bedrock, agent frameworks, evals tooling or multi-tenant SaaS is a bonus.
