Corporate Development Manager/Sr Manager

As part of Ecolab’s Corporate Development team, the Corporate Development Manager/Sr Manager is responsible for evaluating M&A opportunities and investments, preparing complex financial valuation models and analyzing strategic fit. The role also supports the preparation of materials for executive management review, coordination of the due diligence process and supporting negotiations.
This is a high-visibility position requiring analytical thinking, excellent project management skills, an understanding of M&A concepts, and strong attention to detail.
What You Will Do:
- Work with functional and business teams to develop financial forecasts and proper accounting treatment to incorporate into financial valuation models
- Conduct financial statement analysis to evaluate business performance
- Support and organize transaction due diligence process including request tracking, coordination of internal and external resources, and synthesis of due diligence findings
- Conduct research and in-depth analyses of companies, markets, and industries, and assess their attractiveness and strategic fit with Ecolab
- Coordinate Capital Authorization Requests and draft project presentations
- Manage ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and projects as needed

- Candidate must reside within commutable distance of St. Paul, MN
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA with 4 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field with 7 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office to create both complex financial models and executive-level presentations
- Business acumen and understanding of the linkage between business strategy and financial performance

Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA or CPA
- Corporate development, strategic planning, consulting, finance, private equity and/or investment banking
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills, high attention to detail, the ability to work independently
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
