About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to the development of our product, focusing on SQL query optimization, database performance, and improving data processing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Develop and improve data infrastructure using Python and SQL.
Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.
Work with large datasets and data processing systems.
Analyze query execution, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Work with different computing environments and database systems.
Contribute to building scalable and reliable technical solutions.
Requirements:
Strong practical experience with Python.
Advanced SQL knowledge.
Commercial experience working with databases.
Understanding of SQL query execution and optimization.
Experience working with large datasets.
Understanding of database architecture and distributed systems.
Ability to analyze and optimize system performance.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Snowflake.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MySQL, or other SQL databases.
Apache Spark / PySpark.
DuckDB.
Databricks or Airflow.
AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Apache Iceberg.
Experience with high-load or distributed systems.
