We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain native Android applications.
Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and local databases.
Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
Write unit and UI tests and debug issues.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
Manage app releases and updates through Google Play Console.
Follow coding standards and modern Android development practices.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-5 years of hands-on Android development experience.
Experience publishing or maintaining production Android applications.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to have
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging and other Firebase services.
Knowledge of advanced performance profiling tools.
Exposure to multiple Android UI frameworks (Compose and XML).
