We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bending Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will operate and maintain industrial bending machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Operate CNC and manual bending machines to bend metal sheets and components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, work orders, and quality specifications to ensure accurate production
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise angles, dimensions, and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines to ensure optimal functionality
- Conduct quality control checks on finished components and document measurements and test results
- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report issues to maintenance personnel
- Organize and manage workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with UAE safety regulations and company protocols
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve operational challenges
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine downtime, and material usage
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in operating bending machines (CNC and manual)
- Blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation
- Precision measurement and quality control techniques
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
- Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling
**Required Experience:**
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating bending machines or similar industrial machinery
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment
- Proven track record of maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines
**Required Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Certifications:**
- OSHA certification or machine operation certification
- CNC machine operation certification
- Welding or metal fabrication knowledge
**Domain Expertise:**
- Manufacturing and metalworking industry knowledge
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices
