Senior BIM Engineer - ELV

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Engineer - ELV to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the development and coordination of Building Information Models with a specialized focus on Electrical, Lighting, and Ventilation systems. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of ELV systems within complex building projects, driving efficiency through advanced BIM methodologies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

• Develop, manage, and coordinate comprehensive BIM models for ELV systems using industry-standard software such as Revit and Navisworks
• Perform detailed 3D modeling and clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between ELV systems and other building components
• Lead MEP coordination efforts, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural designs while maintaining technical accuracy
• Analyze and document ELV system requirements in accordance with applicable building codes, standards, and project specifications
• Mentor and guide junior BIM professionals, providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to BIM standards and protocols
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BIM execution plans, coordination reports, and system specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize design solutions and streamline construction workflows
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
• Utilize advanced BIM tools to generate construction drawings, schedules, and material takeoffs for ELV systems
• Participate in project meetings and presentations, communicating complex technical information to stakeholders

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling and MEP coordination, with specific expertise in ELV systems
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software platforms, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related modeling tools
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, Lighting, and Ventilation systems design, installation, and coordination
• Demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination workflows
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to ELV systems
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior professionals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and BIM execution plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
• Experience with construction coordination and site implementation of BIM models
• Familiarity with MEP systems integration and building performance analysis is preferred
