Ego’s kitchen and Delectable is a Modern food box catering company built on passion,quality and consistency. We Specialize in thoughtfully well packaged food boxes ranging from breakfast,lunch,and food in bowls for families , offices,events and special occasions.

We are recruiting hardworking, experienced, and reliable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Surulere, Lagos and its environs
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Monitor food supplies and inform management when ingredients are running low.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking areas.
• Prepare and cook meals according to the kitchen’s menu and standards.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Properly store and handle food ingredients.
• Ensure food is properly prepared, cooked, and presented.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as required.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
• Culinary training or relevant cooking certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Experience with Nigerian cuisine is preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, kitchen, catering business, or similar environment.

Required Skills:

• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Ability to prepare a variety of Nigerian dishes.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Remuneration
