Waiter

Responsibilties

• Welcome and attend to guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner, assisting them with seating arrangements.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take guest orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Prepare and arrange dining areas before service and ensure clean up after service.
• Maintain a high standard of table presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with the cafe policies.
• Report guest feedback, complaints, or operational issues to the cafe supervisors.
• Comply with all health, safety, and food handling regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of SSCE/High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a waiter in a hospitality role is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must becustomer service oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Good personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
