Trillium is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool English Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and is excited to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement creative and engaging lessons that comply with early years education standards and promote holistic development.
  • Establish a warm and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
  • Assess and record children’s progress and development, using this information to inform future planning and adapt teaching methods.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and effective learning community.
  • Ensure a safe and orderly environment that promotes children’s health and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to keep up-to-date with early years education best practices.
  • Engage in school activities and contribute to the school community through events and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of early childhood development and effective teaching practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young children and their parents.
  • Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
