To support this growth, we are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team and help us realize our ambitions.

About the Role

As a Test Engineer at Eidel, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and systems. You will be part of the ILS (Integrated Logistical Support) team, working closely with colleagues across hardware, software, systems engineering and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and handle deviations and non-conformances

  • Provide customer support and follow-up on service and maintenance contracts

Desired Background

  • Technical background, preferably in electronics. Vocational certificate and/or higher education from technical college or university, ideally in electronics, cybernetics, automation, or similar fields

  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

  • Experience with production testing

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Some years of relevant work experience is preferred, but newly graduated candidates will also be considered

In addition, the following are considered beneficial:

  • Experience with use of measuring equipment as oscilloscopes and multimeters

  • Experience with Python

  • Knowledge of serial communication and networking

  • Experience with environmental testing

  • Soldering skills and familiarity with IPC standards

Other requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language), both oral and written

Security Clearance

Applicants must hold Norwegian citizenship and be eligible for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET).

What We Offer

We believe that Eidel is a great place to work and strive to give our employees the freedom they need to develop and innovate. Some of the benefits of working with us include:

  • Participation in exciting projects-getting products into space, on the Moon, and maybe even Mars

  • Varied workdays with a good mix of tasks

  • Opportunities for professional development aligned with Eidel’s strategic goals

  • Flexible working hours

  • Health and wellness benefits (physiotherapy/training compensation)

  • Good pension and insurance schemes

  • Supportive colleagues and a great working environment

If you’re looking to apply your testing expertise in a growing technology company and take on hands-on challenges in the space and defense sector, we would love to hear from you.
