Your Role: Executive Sales Representative, Pet Health
As an Executive Sales Representative, you will implement the Elanco sales strategy across targeted Pet Health accounts and distribution channels. You will be accountable for delivering sales objectives, strengthening customer relationships and creating demand for Elanco’s portfolio, with responsibility for sell-out in Lisbon and Santarém and regular travel within Spain.
Your Responsibilities:
Implement the Elanco sales strategy and sales plan to achieve agreed business objectives, quarterly sales targets and Pet Health portfolio growth.
Manage key Pet Health accounts and distribution partners, ensuring sell-out plans in Pet Health accounts and sell-in at distributor level.
Cultivate long-term relationships with veterinarians, pet health professionals, distributors and senior customer stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver customer value.
Lead Pet Health business development, identify opportunities to increase Elanco’s market share and implement field marketing activities across the assigned territory.
Monitor sell-in, sell-out and stock-in-trade data, evaluate sales deviations, implement corrective actions, maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) compliance and represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and business drivers and use this knowledge to develop sales.
Knowledge of veterinary business topics, including disease management, economics and profitability, together with relevant product and disease knowledge.
Strong presentation, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to establish relationships with senior managers, veterinarians and pet health professionals.
High level of spoken and written English and a valid driving licence.

Consistent track record of achieving sales results above the team average.
Experience managing key customer accounts and distribution channels in expansion markets.
Experience implementing customer value-selling programmes in Pet Health.
Experience delivering field marketing activities in the animal health or veterinary sector.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing capabilities focused on customer needs.
Additional Information:
Travel: Up to 75% regular travel within Spain
Location: Lisbon
Flexibility to participate in evening and/or weekend business events is required.
