Electronic Arts is an American video game publisher founded in 1982 by Trip Hawkins that develops and publishes games for consoles, PCs and mobile devices. Its franchises include EA SPORTS FC, Madden NFL, The Sims, Battlefield and Apex Legends, built by studios such as EA Vancouver, Maxis, DICE and Respawn, and it earns much of its revenue from live services and in-game content. The company is headquartered in Redwood City, California, United States.

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Pogo has been the leader in online casual games since 1998. Featuring a growing library of 60+ titles spanning popular genres like Solitaire, Mahjong, Match 3, and more, Pogo exists to be the best destination for online casual games. We strive to produce high-quality HTML5-powered games with sophisticated metagames and social mechanics, all while working seamlessly across desktop, tablet and mobile web. Our fans and subscribers come to Pogo for fresh content, daily challenges, great events, new games, and a live service that delivers!

We are seeking an experienced Product Director to lead product strategy and live services for Pogo. In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the Studio General Manager and serve as the studio's strategic product anchor. You will partner with cross-functional leadership spanning Art, Design, Engineering, Production, Analytics, and Community to deliver a high-retention live service roadmap that delights players every day and meets core business outcomes. You will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of Pogo players’ needs and Pogo’s key business objectives to plan, prioritize, and deliver the right content and feature improvements for our players.

Key responsibilities

Product Management

  • Drive Portfolio Roadmap: Own the holistic product vision and roadmap, orchestrating live operations, catalog health, platform enhancements, and game updates to maximize lifetime engagement.
  • Optimize an Established Ecosystem: Identify high-impact opportunities to evolve and grow an existing web platform, prioritizing scalable improvements over disruptive "0-to-1" rebuilds.
  • Drive Player & Market Intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of player motivations, competitive titles, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Synthesize complex behavioral, telemetry, and transactional datasets into actionable product roadmaps, clear executive narratives, and measurable KPI benchmarks.

Financial Management

  • Deliver Business Commitments: Partner with Studio Leadership and Finance to forecast, establish, and meet quarterly and annual revenue, retention, and engagement goals.
  • Balance Multi-Stream Monetization: Optimize and grow our multi-tier business model across subscriptions, programmatic advertising, and live-event monetization without compromising player trust.

Leadership

  • Lead the Product Discipline: Mentor and empower the Product Management team, fostering a culture of curiosity, data rigor, player empathy, and operational excellence.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with other key studio leaders to support our vision, mission, and strategy; develop plans to achieve those goals
  • Cultivate Healthy Accountability: Promote a development culture of healthy accountability, maximizing potential and pride in accomplishments

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience in digital games or web/mobile consumer platforms
  • Demonstrated success optimizing, maintaining, and scaling an existing, live consumer business with an established, highly engaged audience (as opposed to strictly early-stage startup/pre-launch environments).
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with a track record of driving change collaboratively across tenured teams and deeply invested player communities.
  • A deep understanding of the casual games space, including player motivations, market trends, and key business drivers.
  • A genuine passion for creating fun, compelling, and engaging user experiences that resonate with everyday players.
  • Natural curiosity with a strong emphasis on continuous learning, adaptation, and iterative business growth.
  • Comfort and readiness to work effectively in a fully remote environment across multiple time zones.
